👤 Account Management & Subscription

Your StorySplat account is your hub for managing your saved scenes (splats), profile settings, and subscription plan.

Accessing Your Account & Dashboard

  • User Dashboard: While in the editor, the User Dashboard is typically visible in the top-right corner. It provides quick access to saving, uploading, and managing your splats stored in the cloud.
  • Account Page: Click the "Account" link in the main site navigation (Toolbar) to access a dedicated page displaying all your saved splats in a sortable, searchable grid.
  • Manage Subscription / Account Settings: If you have an active paid subscription (Plus or Business), a "Manage Subscription" or "Account Settings" button will appear in the User Dashboard or main Toolbar, linking to detailed subscription and billing management.
  • Upgrade Button: If you are on the Free plan, an "Upgrade to Plus" button will be visible, linking to the upgrade page.

Managing Saved Splats (User Dashboard & Account Page)

Both the editor's User Dashboard and the dedicated Account Page allow you to manage your saved scenes:

  • View List: See all the splats saved to your account.
  • Scene Title & Description: Identify your scenes easily.
  • Thumbnail Preview: A visual preview of each scene (if generated).
  • Visibility Toggle (👁️ / ): Quickly switch a splat between Public (visible on your profile and potentially in Discover) and Private (only visible to you). Note: Making splats private typically requires a Plus or higher subscription.
  • Copy Embed Code (📋): Get the <iframe> code to embed the splat viewer directly into your website or blog.
  • Open in New Tab (🔗): View the splat's public or direct link page.
  • Edit Scene (✏️): Load the selected splat and its configuration back into the editor.
  • Edit Splat (✏️ - SuperSplat): Launch the integrated SuperSplat editor to modify the core Gaussian Splat data (clean up, crop). See SuperSplat Integration.
  • Replace Splat Model (🔄): (Appears when editing a scene) Allows you to upload a new .splat, .ply, or .spz file to replace the current splat data associated with the currently loaded scene configuration. Useful for updating the visuals while keeping waypoints/hotspots.
  • Delete Scene (🗑️): Permanently remove the splat and its associated configuration, HTML file, and assets from your account and storage. This action cannot be undone.
  • Analytics (📊 - Business/Enterprise Only): Access the analytics dashboard for the selected splat. See Analytics Guide.
  • Save/Update:
    • Save Project: (Appears if no scene is loaded or it's a new, unsaved scene) Saves the current editor state (splat reference, waypoints, hotspots, settings) as a new splat entry in your account.
    • Publish Changes: (Appears if you are editing a previously saved scene) Updates the saved configuration and potentially the hosted HTML file for the currently loaded scene ID.
    • Save File: (Appears within the "Publish Changes" section when editing) Updates only the saved .json configuration file in your storage without regenerating/re-uploading the HTML viewer. Faster for saving minor config tweaks.
    • Update Published Splat: (Appears within the "Publish Changes" section when editing) Updates the saved .json and regenerates/re-uploads the HTML viewer file. Use this when visual settings or significant content changes need to be reflected in the shared/embedded version.
